Abstract:
Milk and its products are essential in human diets. the milk consumption per capita in Egyptian milk supply about 1.71 (million tons) is mainly provided by buffaloes (70%) and cows (29%); and to a lower extent by goats and sheep The sulphuric acid treatment is likely to used as reported who indicated that sulphuric acid treatment improved chemical coposition, digestibility and nutritive value of some poor quality roughages. therefor, The present study was carried out to investigate the effect of ensiling urea treated rice straw with or without sulphuric acid treatment on digestibityn and nutritive value by sheep and milk production loy friesian cows and buffaloes.
