Abstract:
the relative amounts of each amino acid present depended on the source of carbohydrate used and on the yeast strain (krychkova, et at., 1965) Ikonomova 1969 found that the greatest amount of biomass was produced by t. utilis in the presence of glucose, fructose, and sucrose together with 4.3-6 g.of ammonium salt, 3.9-4.6g. urea and sodium nitrate per litre.
