Abstract:
Undoubtedly salinity is a world - wide problem affecting plant growth, yield and its composition . It is known that plants absorb the constituents ions of a saline substrate in varying degress . This may result in harmful accumulations of a particular ion or in decreasing the absorption of some essential nutrients beside the depressive effect on the activity of the endogenous growth hormons . Attempts have been made to overcome the adverse effect of salinity, one of them is application of growth regulators ; parlicularly growth retardants, to plants grown under saline condition . In recent years, more attention to aromatic and medicinal plants for its secondary constituents wich used as aromatic, drugs or colouring matters . Ttus the Puropose of the Present work was attempt to raise the survival capacity and improving growth parmeters beside oil yield of salt stressed Togetes plants by using Cycocel (CCC), Alar (B-9) or Paclobutrazol(PBZ).
