Evallation of Some Pepper Cultivars and Their Hybrids

The Concept of combining ability is becoming increasingly in plant breeding. It is desired to study and compare the performances of lines in hybrid combinations. So, The objectives of this study were to assess and compare the general and specific combining ability of papper crosses(F1-hybrids) foreight cultivars in two sets of diallel mating system. the information from this study will be of a value in establishing a beginning towards testing the combining ability of numerous cultvars and selected lines.
