Studies On Crossbred Sheep

An attempt to increase productivity of the local sheep in egypt by crossing the finnish laudrace crossbred rams (5, finnish andrace 5,ossimi) with ossimi and rahmani ewes. reagular lambings at six or eight months intervals, were tried. ewe lambs were early bred at 7 months of age. eqrly weaning and slanghter test for the fattenedmales were also carried out. the effects of crossing, frequency of lambing, early weaning and early breeding, were also studied.
