Abstract:
As a result of the wide use of pesticides several times every year causing resistant strains, considerable attention was given to use of insecticides maxtures, in the present study, an effort was made to obtain additional informations about the joint action of insecticides on field strain of this aphid. from our experience, aphid have a problem with ammonia excretion. Ammonia is producing by de-aminating the free amino acids during protein metabolism. Therefor, we expected, If transaminases is inhibited, ammonia will aggregat in aphid haemolymph causing insect death. for examining that postulate, experiments were carried out to study the cause of insect death when transaminases will be inhibited. That was considered very important target of this work. Finally, the obtained results may help in solving some problems and provide an appropriate control programme for aphid considering several intervening factors.
