Genetic Studies In Cotton (Gossypium Barbadense L.)

In The present investigation , we deal with such a phenomenon,changes in lint colour, by two means: The first is studying the stability of the three original cotton varieties , that showed changes in their fibre colour, and their F1’s with their corresponding offtypes under different locations and treatments , i.e. genotype-environment interactions. The second is examining the genetic behaviour of this phenomenon by crossing these offtypes with their original parents and studying the gene effects in successive generations.
