Studies On The Antagonistic Effect Of Trichoderma Spp.on Soil Borne Fungi Attacking Onion Plants In Egypt

The present investigation was planned to isolate and identify the causal organism of white rot and basal rot diseases of onion in A.R.E and Trichoderma Spp. from the soil . The pathogenic potentials of the causal organisms were studied . The microflora were surveyed in the rhizosphere of onion plants chemically and/or biologically controlled . The effect of propagation media on the antagonism between Trichoderma Spp. and the main pathogens was studied.
