Some Physiological And Genetical Studies On Tomato

In the present study two different genotypes of tomato, of diverse origin and their F1 hybrid were exposed to sodium chloride concentrations in order to examine their genotypic responses to salinity, at different stages of plant development, inrespect of some physio-biochemical characters. The study is also dealt with estimation of the extent of heterosis and dominance effects of such characters in relation to saline tolerance.
