Nutritional Evaluation For Some Egyptian Feedstuffs Commonly Used In Feeding Rabbits

The domestic rabbit has potenial as an important animal for meat production in under developed cuntries. Rabbit raising could help to alleveiate animal protein storages, particularly in areas of high population where space for alternative agricultural production is limited. the high productive capability of rabbits and fast growth rate are two imprtant factors contributing to this ootential. In addition, rabbits can be raised on feedstuffs that are noncompetitive with human needs, which may be of increasing importance in the future. This study was desigved to compare the effects of various protein sources and their mixtures on the performance of rabbits to raise the level of knowledge of AA requirements of rabbits to that of most other domestic animals and poultry.
