Abstract:
Feed represents the greatest single cost factor in poultry production , hence, enhanced utilization of feed offers real potential in reducing production costs for commercial egg products. The purpose of this study was to futher evaluate the effects of protein levels in pullets diets, population numbers of birds in cages and the daily numbers of feeding on the performance of egg production and its quality up to 72 weeks of age.The nutrient requirements of the growing White Leghorn pullet are not well defined since production goals are ultimately assocaiated with subsequent laying performance.
