Nutritive value of green forage dried by Solar Energy

Consequently, the drying systems using solar drier considered one of theimportant systems to minimzing the losses of nutritive value for green forages (Berseen, pioneer-988 and Guar). therefore an attempt was done to compare the efficiency of simple solar dryers with the traditional methods of making hay, followed by the Egyptian farmers. The objectives of this study were: 1-Evaluation of different drying systems using some green forages Berseem, Pioneer-988 and Guar). 2- Minimzing of nutrient losses. Possibility and utilization of the best (high efficiency) drying system in a larg farm scale.
