Abstract:
The Present study was conducted to throw some light on the effect of high ambient temperature on friesian calves performance two techniques for amiliorating the negative effects of the neat stress on the animals were also studied. The first was supplementation of heat stressed Friesian calves with urea and mineral mixtune. The second was cooling the heat stnessed Friesian calves via sprinkring and drinking cool water. Particular study has been extended to out the role of insulin in controling the related internalccmponents and its reflection on the performance of the animals under these expenimental conditions The change in each of; live body weight, growth rate total ”body water, tota I body solids , daily body gain and solids daily gain were studied.
