The Role Of Thyroxine In Improving Productivity Of Heat Stressed Farm Animals With Different thchniques

The Present was planned to throw some light on the changes in bloodcomponents, thyioxine hormone level and milk yield and composition in heat stressed lactating friesian cows as a first objective. The second objective was to aleviate the heat load imposed on heat stressed lactatting Fri esian cows for improving milk production by supplementation with mineral mixture and urea orلby thyroxine enjection plus providing the animals with cool water to drink or by external and internal cooling i.e. sprinkling plus drinking cool water . the levels of some blood components and thyroxine were determined avaaluate the actual effect of means of amelioration of heat stress on the blood biochemical processes.
