The aim of the present investigation is to evaluate the mutagenic and carcinogenic potentiality of the antibelharzial drug, astiban, using three microbial systems, Ames test, lysis induction test and mutation in regulator and structural genes.moreover,it was advisable to test Astiban effects on samples from cases of bacterial infections associated with bladder cancer which proved to be as a main factor.
