The utilization of treated feeding stuffs in feeding ruminant animals

Animal production in Egypt is still confronting several factors, the most limiting being feed shortage. In order to correct the feed balance in Egypt, a number of the agricultural by-products can be utilized in animal feeding. furthermore, the nutritive value of these by-products can be improved by chemical treatments. the present experiments were therfore conducted in order to study the effect af acid treatment on the nutrative value of agricultral by- products such as rice hullsas rice huils peanut hulls saw dust, dete stones and cotton by -products will help inthe development of animal feed resources in EGYPT.
