Increasing Drought Tolerance Of Gladiolus Plants Through Application Of Some Growth Regulators

This work has been carried out to investigate the efficiency of some growth regulators (spermine and paclobutrazol) to overcoming the harmful effects of drought stress on gladiolus plants. Increasing soil moisture stress significantly decreased the studied growth parameters i.e plant height, number of leaves per plant, total leaf area per plant and the dry weight of shoot per plant at the two sampling dates as compared with control .
