The present investigation aims to survey the foliar diseases of barley in Egypt with special reference to leaf stripe. isolaation and identifiication of the causal organism, Helminthosporium gramineum rabh. (Drechslera gramines shoem.) and its pathogenicity , as well as various techniques of inoculation were stidied.
