Protein insufficienncy stands today as an important proplem in the developing countries including Egypt and Iraq. The individual dairy consumption of animal protein was found to be under 15 and 16.8 gm. In Egypt and Iraq, respectively, while the American individual consumption is 66.7 gm. Daily . Significant protein and milk suplies can be obtained from sheep . The aim of this work is the formulation of a successful diluting and preservation method for native ram semen . The release of the enzyme during preservation was employed to explane the low conception rates when using frozen ram semen under the local condition. In addition, the fertilizing capacty of deep frozen ram semen was taken as a criterion for the success of the method of dilution applied.
