Abstract:
This work was carried out to study tb effect of moisture on the chemical behaviour and absorption of nitrogen and phosphorus, Also, the transformation of urea under different soil moisture and phosphatic sources was studied Two pot experinents were established to fulfil these purposes. In the first one, the split-root technique described by Mederski and wilson (1960) was followed. 40 Considerable research work has been done to study the effect of soil moisture and fertilization with N or P on the growth yield and nutrient uptake by plants. The results of these investigations will be reviewed under the following headings.
