Abstract:
The population of the main crop may exercise a controlling effect on weeds. The selection of an optimum population that gives maximum yield has to be fully examined under different weed control methods. This investigation was the refore undertaken to Study the differential reactions of cotton plants and weeds to mechanical weed control method i.e.Hoeing In comparison with some herbecidal applications.in addition.the determinationof optimum plant popultion.and dose of nitrogen application. Last but not least the interation effects of these three factors on growth and yield of cotton as well as on weeds.
