Stueies on Propagation of Grapes by Cuttings

The Egyptian nurseries widely use hardwood cutting from the one-year-old pruning as propagative material. Nevertheless, quantity and quality of the resulting transplants are of major economic imporatance,so it is important to improve the usual nursery applicationa. The present work was planned to evaluate the efficiency of grape vine cutting as a propagative material in relation to the time of their preparation and planting with soreening the role of some morphological factors of both the mother vines and canes in this respect.
