Studies on Egg Laying Cycle in Ducks

Ducks meat may share in solving the deficiency of proteins from animal sources in farmers food . Egg production is the channel for increasing meat,as it is used mainly in ducks for reproduction and the production of ducklings. Photoperiodicity induces breeding season in birds. The early studies dealing with Photoperiodicity experimentation in birds began with ducks. However, scanty recent studies deal with experimentation in Photoperiodicity in ducks. In this work the effct of different light treatments on the productive and reproductive characters of pekin ducks and drakes in their pullet year will be investigated.
