Inheritance Of Earliness and Some Other Characters in Rice (Oryza Sativa L.)

The aim of the present investigation was to study the nature of inheritence of some characters related to yeild in rice, including earliness (date of heading), as well as some other characters as tillering capacity, plant height, panicle length and grain length. the study was also extended to include the study of a wnedness which is considered an important taxonomic character.the main objective of this work included the nature and degree of dominance, the nature of gene action, parental differnce for each character.
