Abstract:
The nature of raped and intensive yeild of meat in ducks and geese is of great importance as to the solution of shortage in Egypt. In this study, an attempt was to Compare two standard meat breed of ducks, namely, the pekin and breed of duck the ”sudani” with respect to meat production. Also, the developmental changes in body weight, organs, tissues and glands were studied in the Pekin ducks. Different measurements were taken on the living birds their dressed carcass to determine the most reliable measurements that can give a true picture about the productivity of meat such birds. The weighs of glands and gonads were taken at the different ages to give a clear picture about the changes that occurs in these sex and breed on these organs.
