Genetic Studies On Some Agronomic And Quality Characters In Field Beans (VICIA FABA L .)

The initial variation utilized in this study was represented by a group of varieties belonging to different international races of this plant species as well as a group of artificially induced mutants. Different varieties and mutant lines were crossed, each in a separate group to obtain two dialiel sets, from which informations on the genetic behaviour of the yield characters and protein content were gathered.
