Effect of Some Treatments on yield and Quality of Sweetmelon

Sweetmelon (Cusurnls melon L.) is one of the most irmportant and popular Vegetable Grop grown in A.R.E. Its acareage increased from 17576 feddan in 1975 to 27857 feddan in 1980 .The A.R.E. government is pressing hard to increase the tonnage of Vegetable Crops produced. This could be achied. by growing more area or by lncreasing the Total yield perr feddan this Work Was Carried out to investigate the effect of fertilization with nitrogen and phosphorus as well as spraying with ethrel, cycocel and boron on growth, chemical composition, sex eoperession, anatomical studies, yield and fruit quality of sweetmelon.
