Abstract:
This work aimed to improve the yielding ability of a crop, both the use of superior production practices and planting improved varieties have to be considered. Resistance to diseases is one: of the improvements considered by plant breeders as an important fuctor contributing to high yield. In beans, the rust disease reduce the vegetative growth and, consequently, the total yieLd . To prevent Loaaes from this source, it is necessary for the plant breeder to study the inheritance of the resistance for such disease in order to develop new resistant varieties , The study reported herein was undertaken in an attempt to study the inheritance of resistance to rust diseases, Using natural infection as well as artificial infection in the Greenhouse. The nature of resistance was investigated through nitrogen , amino acid analysis and phenols of host plants.
