The first question is concerned with what type of mineral or minerals are responsible for this enrichment. the second question is concerned with how to defferent Egyptian soils. this particularly important given the fact that there are numerous methods of soil testing for K. the answer of these two questions is the objective of this work.The current work was undertaken to investigate the itrification rate in some represen tative soil samples in egypt. both urea and ammonium sulphate were used in this investigation.
