Abstract:
The effect of the microbial number and population species as well as the effects of the presence of suitable substrates for the microbial activity,,suitable moisture and the prevailing temperature are some of many important factors that may control the carbon dioxide evolution from different soils under different environments .The Objectives of this study are to study the factors that affect the CO2 evolution from highly calcareous soils of the North Western coast of Egypt.
