Studies on the Retting of some Fibre plants

The aim of the present investigations to develop a Suitable method for retting of cotton-stalk ribbons in a short period. Improving the quality of the produced fibers was also taken into consideration. Science the minerals existing in the retting liquor are of importance, therefore, the C/N/P ratios were tested in an attempt to develop the appropriate concentrations for retting microflora to accomplish the process in a short time.
