Abstract:
The objectives of this work were to study : the effect of water stress (three levels of moisture) on the compositionof different bio-moleculesin two forages, nemely, Napier of Elephant grass ( Pennisetum purpurem) and sorghun sp. ( Sorghum vulgare var. sudanese)or Sudan grass .The effect of three method.s of potassium fertilization on the composition of the two forages mentioned above . these metheds were soil application ( Ks ), foliar application ( Kf ) , and control treatment, i. e. without potassium fertilization . The effect of stage of maburity ( cut ) on the composition of the two forages. Interaction, if anY , between any two of the above factors was also studied .The nutritive value ( in vitro) of the two fodder plants as affected by water stress and method of potassium fertilization .
