The Inheritance Of Resistance To Chocolate Spot Disease Of Broad Bean Varieties

This Study was planned to induce variation and to develop resistant lines to chocolate spot through chemical mutagenesis using ethyl methnne sulphonate (EMS) .The present study has also aimed to understand the chemosenesis and the extent of variability that can be induced for many agronomically important characters in this crop,Sensitivity of the field bean plants to a certain mutagenic agent could be practically utilized in this species in terms of the mutagenic efficiency, cost and repeatability of results.
