Abstract:
The Egyption clover, Trifolium alxandrinum , commonly known as berseam is of the most improtant fodder crops in Egypt. Its sconmic imprtance comes from the fact that green plant is considered the principal food for cattle, sheep and some domestic animals, besides being a valuable source for enriching the soil with the fixed nitrogen. Two kinds of berseem seeds are sown in Egypt during september, october and november; the multi-cutting berseem or (Miskawi)and uni-cutting or (Fahl). In the present work investigations were carried out on the effect of different temperatures relative humidities and diets on certain biological aspects of B.alfierii.
