Abstract:
This study can be considered as an extension of the previous work of Shawky et al., 1979. In both studies Staphylococcus spp. was the most predominant genus. In order to gain a clear idea about the frequency and nature of isolates with marked genetic activity in their culture filtrates, We aimed to test a great number of more characterized isolates. Therefore properties correlated with pathogenicity and resistance to a great number of antibiotics were determined for these isolates.
