Physsiological Studes on Evaluation of Some Almond Varibties At Mariut

The most efficient trail for introducing almond varieties to the country was rhat of F.A.O. in 1968/1969 through the project the projest of th e”fruit trees collection collection farm in king mariut” the introduced almond varietiis of F.A.O. project were mainly from tunisia and U.S.A.The present investigation was planned to study concurrently the behaviour of different introduced clmond cultivars grown at ”Mariut”. The ecological conditions of ”Mariut” area represent more or less the North western Coastal Belt of A.R.E.Such studies are major importance for ”Mariut” Extension or for other rigions.
