Abstract:
the national poilcy of improving agricultural production necessitates the increase of the output of the feddan of vegetable paralled to the increase in area. among the pathways for improving the yield of warermelon and other vegetable crops, the nutritional requirements play a major role. the sandy soil can not supply the crop with its necessary mutrient requirements because these nutrients are not sufficient or for their fixation an the soil.The Possibility of supplying mutrient elements to watermelon plants undoubtedly of greet importanc. Occordingly, this investigation was carried out to study the effect of farm yard manure, boron, copper, iron and zinc alone or in different combination on growth sex expression, cnemical composition, yield and fruit quality of watermelon.
