Abstract:
Fundamentally, the purpose of working on my mycotox ins was to protect the public health, prevent fraud and misrepresentation and to insure the sanitery of food quality. Aaflatoxins and aflatoxicosis are wide-world concern during the last nineteen years. Several reports indicated their distribution among several agricultural commodities essential for human and animal nutrition. Ingesting the contaminated foods and feeds was associated with different hazards . Alfatoxins are not responsible for hepatotoxicity in animals but also are carcinogenic especially to poultry and mono-gastric animals fed on contaminated meals. The studies on experimental animals and non-human primates suggest that they may cause liver disorders in humans. At 1974, an outbreak of a disease with 20% mortalit rate was recorded in India among humans consuming heavily contaminated corn with aflatoxin. The present work was conducted to study the suitable conditions for producing metabolites y the fungus A. flavus. the effects of these metabolites on a lbino white rat permance were studied
