Abstract:
The Egyptian cotton ,G.barbadense L. , occupies about one fourth of the total cultivated area in Egypt . It is necessary to improve both the quantity and quality of cotton production which would help in decreaing the cultivated area of cotton . This may be a chieved through breeding programmes, as well as, by proper cultural treatments.This investigation, therefore, aimed to Indicate The Most Important physiological aspects related to the effect of planting method i.e. in rows Flat iand) And inridges (establishing ridres) and,plant density in four egyptian cotton cvs.i.e. Giza ,giza ,69 giza 70 and Giza 68.
