The purpose of this research is: to evaluate introduced Opaque-2 and locally developed normal parents per se, and to dedermine whether introduced Opaque-2 maize could be considered for commercial production.To evaluate the Opaque and normal parent as potental contributors to a ”hybrid” breeding programme for opaque maize.
