Abstract:
It is well known that the soils ofarid. and, semi arid. regions are poor in organic matter content. The organic matter plays an tmportant role in improving most of the physical, chemical and” biological properties of the soil. Besides, it supplies ’the plants with proper amounts of nutrients i, e. N, P, S and’ mieronutrients. In this study garbage, was fermented under aerobic and nonaerobic conditions. The main objectives of this investigation were to Stydy The Following: a- Effect of composting on the chemical composition of Zagazig town refuse. b- Effect of organic fertilizers on the yield of dry matter and chemical composition of maize and barley plants. c- effect of composted townrefuse application on the chemical composition of the soil.
