Studieson Propagation of olive trees

The present work was designed to investigate the effect of girdling and etiolation treament prior to cutting preparation as well as some indolbutyric acid treatment befors, or after taking the cuttings on the cuttings on their rooting. The role of the wood age was taken into consideration by using semi- hardwood cutting from 1-year old wood as well as hardwood cuting from 2- year- old and mor than 2-year-old wood. The date of cutting preparation was also considerd.
