Abstract:
There are quite a good number of various organisms that can be used in rice fields. azospirillum, cyanobacteria (previously was blue green algae) and the fern azolla. the question arises here, are there organisms when used can supply the rice crop with requirement of nitrogen most of literature indicates that use of biofertilizer can not replace the use of mineral fertilizers completely. it can be of supplementary nature.therefore, this study was performed in order to investigate the possibility of using biofertilizer to supplement the use of mineral fertilizer to supply the crop giza 177 cultivar with its nitrogen needs.
