Abstract:
Grapevines are, generally, considered as moderately salt tolrant.Under field conditions grapevine are often grown in soils that are saline or subject to slainization by irrigation with ground water (Ehlig, 1960). The Present Study was Outlined to the assess the salinity tolerance and root-knot nematode resistance of the rootstock Dogridge as compared with the european variety Thomposon Seedless. In addition, trials to enhance rootability of Dogridge cuttings through some IBA and mist treatments were carried out.
