The Potential Use Of Some Amendments to Remediate Heavy Metal Polluted Spil In Egypt As Determind By Nuclear Techniques

The objectives of this work were four folds. first, to characterize the behavior of some heavy metals(Zinc and cr) in tested-amended soil as affected by its physical and chemical properties using zn and cr tracer technique. Second, to describe the sorption and desorption of these metals(Zn and Cr) which may help in remediation technique for the contaminated sites.third, to assess the effect of some soil amendments on heavy metals uptake and recovery from the contaminated soil. fourth, to enhance the remediation of pollutaats as will as to protect soil quality.
