Abstract:
Synthetic inhibitors are expensive chemicals that are also affected by soil conditions. they undergo leaching and decomposition and thus lose their efficiency by time. therefor, investigation were directed in laest years towards the application of natural products that has inhibiting effects on the nitrification process. Such Products are throught to be more envirnmentt-friendly, less costly and can be maintaied in the siol for longer periods The aim of this work is, therefore, to evaluate in a comparative study, the effect of the some known synthetic and natural nitrification inhibitors under laboratory and greenhouse conditions, on the transformation and availability of added N-fertilizers.
