Abstract:
In Egypt, meat and egg production are considered of the most dynamic sectors of the Agriculture industry. the poultry meat production showed a tremendous increase during the last years. The remarkable improvements in the stock perfomance and management indicate the industry’s capability of meeting the pressure of inflation by means of technological innovation and a reachness to accept change, with the extensive increase in human population and the raise in the standard of living, there will be a continual increasing demand for animal products such as meat, eggs and milk. Poultry meat is usually more preferably to the consumer than mutton and beef. It is a matter of fact that poultry including broiler chicks have higher relative growth rate than sheep and cattle- The Present work aimes to investigate the effect of varying dietary protein levels and methionine supplementation on the performance of broile chichs during each of the starting and growing periods, especially, under tropics climate conditions, in egypt.
