Genetic Studies On Salt And Drought Tolerance In Rice

The present study aimed to investigate the genetic nature and heritability of salt and drought tolerance in some Egyptian and introduced varirties under salt and drought conditions . Salt and drought resistance were assesses on the basis of the differences in seeding characters and morphological , physiological and chemical characters at vegetative stage , as well as yield and its attributes at maturity stage .
