Energy Sources and Lvels For Growing Rabbits in Subtropics

There is evidence that the use of grains by rabbits may be influenced by factors other than their energy content. in the country-side in Egypt , the prevailing diet for rabbits is the major roughage source (Berseem hay) and an energy source either the barley or the corn grains under the traditional feeding system. Therefore The Present study was designed to determine the effect of different additional energy sources and levelson wealing rabbit diets on the digestibility, growth performance, blood const. tuents and carcoss traits as well as on the economic valaues of those diets in the growing new zealand white rabbits.
