Abstract:
In the present syudy , the two markers HML and MAT in Saccharomyces Cerevisiae strain wild type and mutants , RAD3 epistasis group ( rad2, rad7 ) , RAD52 epistasis group ( rad50, rad52 ),RAD6 epistasis group ( rad6, rad8, rad18 ), and the two constructed strains PHE10 ( CYPIAI ) and PHE34 (CYPIAI, CYPIA2, mEH ) were used to study the repair of damage induced by the standard mutagens EMS, 4NQO, B(a)P and the two pesticides ( Quizalofop- ethy1 and LassoR atrazine ). The validity of the genetic background of these strains to constitute the basis for the construction of strain able to degrade pollutants was discussed .
